EXCLUSIVE LICENSE AGREEMENT
Exclusive Beat License Agreement
This Agreement is made on [Date] between:
Producer (Licensor): [Your Name]
Artist (Licensee): [Artist Name]
1. Rights
Producer grants Artist exclusive rights to use the beat titled [Beat Title] to create and release one new song (“New Recording”).
2. Ownership
• Producer owns the beat.
• Producer keeps 50% Writer’s share and 50% Publishing share.
• Artist keeps the remaining shares for lyrics/vocals.
3. Royalties
• Producer receives 50% of all Master royalties earned from the New Recording.
• Producer keeps their share of mechanical, performance, sync, and neighboring royalties.
4. Credit
Artist must credit Producer as: “Produced by [Your Name]”.
5. No Refunds
All sales are final and non-refundable.
6. Re-Recording
If the song is re-recorded or reproduced with a new beat, Producer still keeps 50% publishing.
7. Licensor’s Option
Producer may cancel this Agreement within 3 years by refunding the license fee. Artist must then remove the song from all platforms.
8. Miscellaneous
• This Agreement is the full understanding.
• Disputes follow the laws of [Your State/Country].
• Electronic signatures are valid.

MP3 non-exclusive license

License lasts 3 years.

Producer can still license the beat to others.
2. Ownership

Artist owns only the lyrics/vocals they add.

Producer keeps 50% Writers + 50% Publishing.

Producer also owns 50% of the Master Recording.
3. Royalties

Producer gets paid standard mechanical, performance, sync, neighboring, and master royalties.

Artist agrees to register Producer’s share correctly with PROs (ASCAP, BMI, etc.).
4. Usage Limits

Up to 500,000 streams/downloads (audio + video).

1 music video allowed.

Unlimited free promo use.

No reselling, sublicensing, or distributing the beat as an instrumental.
5. Refund Policy
All sales are final. No refunds or exchanges.
6. Re-Recording
If the song is ever re-recorded with new production, Producer still gets 50% publishing.
7. Licensor’s Option
Producer may cancel this agreement within 3 years by refunding the license fee. Artist must then remove the song from all platforms.
8. Credit
Artist must credit: “Produced by [Your Name]” on all platforms, releases, and metadata.
9. Legal
